We just marked a huge milestone — our 10‑year anniversary — right in the heart of Berlin at the legendary House of Music. It’s wild how fast time has flown. Over the last decade, the Sample Music Festival has traveled far and wide, from Berlin to Frankfurt and all the way to Shanghai and Dubai, spreading the culture of turntablism, finger drumming, and beatmaking to every corner of the world.

This year we turned Berlin into our playground for five unforgettable days. Across multiple venues, we brought together artists, innovators, and music lovers from 15 different nations. The energy was electric as we crowned champions at the Finger Drumming World Championship, unveiled an exciting new format in collaboration with Yamaha, and dove deep into inspiring workshops and showcases.

Our Beatmaking Competition with the Beat Unit drew in fresh talents and bold sounds, while our legendary Clash of the Titans Scratch Battle once again proved why the global turntablism community is as alive and fearless as ever.
