Top 8 Winner !!!!

We have a unanimous vote by the folks at Phase for their $500 most creative entry award. A big congratulations to... SirCut!!!

Sircut used the Phase audio signal to control modular synths, while building a lovely performance based on Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Brilliant work and we look forward to learning more about Syntablism in the future!

Submissions closed.....

And the submissions are ready! We had 30 djs enter the fray with their interpretation of using Beethoven's works in a turntablist routine. Some went straight battle style, some went more musical, some went full tech and some just had a good read. Check them out and let us know what you think!
Judges will begin their judging, check back on Wednesday the 15th to find out who made the top 8! Check our SMF Battle TV channel to see all submissions.

Clash of the Titians 2020 “Beethoven Edition” powered by Reloop  and Playground, Serato, MAGMA, PHASE, Woodwurk records

The Clash of the Titans battle is back with a new format! Due to travel restrictions and local scratch battles not being possible we will hold an online battle and shift the focus to one of the OG titans of the music scene's 250th birthday, Ludwig van Beethoven!

Rules

Submit a 1min turntablist routine without using Aahh & Freshh samples. Get creative! This won't be our usual freestyle scratch battle, we want to celebrate musicality and showcase what turntablist can do with their imagination. Simply use the works of Beethoven in some form. Your imagination is the limit.
